Storage & Database DevOps Engineer Responsibilities Solution Design Develop a deep understanding of business requirements and design highly available, high-performance, and scalable storage/database solutions leveraging technologies such as Redis, MySQL, TiDB, and MongoDB. Drive strong integration between business needs and technical architecture. Platform Development & Optimization Lead DevOps efficiency improvements for storage and database systems, including automation of deployment, intelligent monitoring, and self-healing capabilities. Drive the team toward a modern DevOps culture and platform-based operations Cross-functional Project Execution Act as a project lead to coordinate cross-functional resources, define project plans and technical solutions, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of major cross-team initiatives. Technology Research & Innovation Stay up to date with the latest advancements in storage and database technologies. Explore the feasibility of applying new technologies to business scenarios, lead technical research and proof-of-concept (PoC) validation, and provide forward-looking technical recommendations. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing Work closely with business teams and engineering teams to provide technical support and consultation. Organize internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance overall team capability. Qualifications Technical Expertise Strong proficiency in at least one or more of the following: Redis/Tair, MySQL, TiDB, MongoDB, S3-compatible object storage, graph databases (e.g., Nebula). Solid understanding of architecture, performance optimization, transaction management, and high availability design. Development Skills Strong software development background, proficient in at least one of Python, Go, or Java. Experience in developing database management platforms, middleware, or related systems is preferred. Business Acumen Ability to quickly understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Cross-industry experience with storage/database applications is a plus. Project Management Ability to independently lead large cross-functional projects, including planning, execution, and resource coordination to ensure successful delivery. Communication & Collaboration Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Fluent in both English and Mandarin. Learning & Innovation Passion for new technologies with strong learning agility and innovative mindset. Experience contributing to open-source projects or holding technical patents is a plus.
