Bilingual Sanitation Manger Rd Shift Apply
UMMARY: Directs the sanitation team to ensure completion of regular housekeeping and sanitation of the facility. Works with Production Floor Manager to coordinate sanitation of assembly lines and prep rooms. Works with QA/QC to ensure GMP are followed. Ensures that the bathrooms, lunchrooms, hallways and offices are kept clean and sanitized as required. Supervises the work in the dishwashing room, the chemical room and facility. Monitors sanitation workers to ensure compliance with quality, health and safety standards. Assists and backs-up sanitation workers when required. Trains new workers on sanitation procedures. Provides input regarding the hiring and firing of workers, evaluates performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the sanitation workers
- Ensures that regular housekeeping activities are competed in all areas of facility
- Ensures sanitation of the food preparation and food assembly rooms.
- Leads and directs the sanitation workers to achieve sanitation goals
- Backs up sanitation workers and operates equipment when required
- Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation and quality standards
- Trains workers on sanitation equipment and procedures and chemicals
- Backs up workers in case of call offs and/or vacations
- Reviews Daily documentation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides coverage for Sanitation Manager
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
Requirements
2 to 3 years of supervisory experience
3-5 years of food prep, production or sanitation experience
Knowledge of sanitation in a prepared food or clinical environment preferred
Associates degree or equivalent sanitation experience
Safety and sanitation certifications
Ability for work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
