Premier Placements is seeking a Bilingual Training Supervisor with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Reidsville, NC. The Training Supervisor will work in a food manufacturing environment, closely with Production, Sanitation, Engineering, and Human Resources departments coordinating the training of hourly associates. This is a floor position, as the Training Supervisor you may spend up to 80% of the time working with associates on the floor.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm + 2 weekends/month

Salary: $70,000-$72,000 base salary + 10% yearly bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Human Resources Administrator and Production Supervisors for new hire tryouts.
  • Evaluate applicant for suitability in production environment during training period.
  • Be the liaison between supervisors, trainees, and new hires.
  • Consult with Plant Managers and Supervisors to assess training needs in each department.
  • Develop and maintain continual education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed.
  • Document procedures for the plant standard operation processes and develop training letters.
  • Continually evaluate training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
  • Develop key performance indicators to report on training objectives.

Requirements:

  • MUST BE BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH).
  • Previous experience in a leadership / training role preferably in a manufacturing / food processing environment.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and people management skills.
  • Adequate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Understanding of company safety requirements.
  • Sense of urgency completing training programs and training material.
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred. High School diploma required.
