Biller|Project Accountant Apply

SCS is growing and to keep up with the demand we need to hire a Biller/Project Accountant to support our Mid-Atlantic Office Services Team. We are looking for the ideal team player who wants to join a culture of trust, care and growth. You will report to the Senior Office Services Manager (OSM) and assist them with a wide variety of accounting tasks from project setups to invoicing. You will be expected to be in the Winchester office full-time at first and a hybrid work schedule might be available down the road.
How you can make an impact
- Monthly invoicing process:
- Distribution and finalizing of client invoices
- Accounts Receivable:
- Distribution of accounts receivable lists to Project Managers for problem resolution
- Client contact and follow-up on payments due
- Other Accounting:
- Timesheet and expense report
- Setting up project, client, and billing files
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Preparation of various accounting forms as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant billing/accounting experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finances preferred, but not required.
- Thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and intermediate to advanced accounting skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of the team and provide guidance to others.
- Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing is required.

Pay range for this position is $57K to $67K/year depending on experience. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
