Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Billing Analyst. This is a 3 to 6 - month contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Hybrid).
As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our regional centres. You will work closely with our finance team to maintain customer accounts, analyse billing data, resolve discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, and analytical, possesses strong communication skills, and has experience with automated billing systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of billing principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and generate invoices for customers based on established billing terms and schedules.
- Document billing process for regional centers.
- Assist in the selection of vendors for automated billing solutions for regional centers.
- Review billing data for accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze billing data and generate reports for management.
- Recommend process improvements to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing billing-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date on industry regulations and changes that may impact billing processes.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $28/hour to $42/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
