Company Overview:
Weathermatic is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in water-conserving technologies for landscaping. We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to join our team. This key role is essential in optimizing our bundled equipment finance program, ensuring a seamless financing process for our expanding customer base.
Position Overview:
As a Billing Manager, you will take charge of managing our financed equipment sales program in collaboration with an independent commercial equipment finance provider. This role involves overseeing the billing process for Weathermatic clients/customers, resolving billing errors, maintaining accurate records of customer accounts, leading a team to achieve billing excellence, and providing outstanding customer support. Additionally, you will be responsible for collections and accounts receivable follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers. You will also provide regular reports to the CFO and Controller on the status of the financed equipment program.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the financed equipment sales program in collaboration with an independent commercial equipment finance provider.
Provide consistent weekly reports on the status of the financed equipment program to the CFO and Controller.
Oversee the end-to-end billing process for Weathermatic clients/customers, including invoice creation and associated support.
Collaborate with team members and customers to resolve billing errors and inconsistencies.
Reconcile and maintain accurate records of customer accounts.
Lead and motivate the billing team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and implement improvements to the billing process for enhanced customer satisfaction.
Provide excellent customer support throughout the billing process.
Implement and oversee collections strategies, ensuring timely payment from customers.
Conduct regular follow-up on accounts receivable to minimize outstanding balances.
Prepare and submit comprehensive customer statements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Proven experience in billing management.
Knowledge of equipment finance is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel/Word; experience with NetSuite (Oracle) is preferred.
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about sustainability.
