Position Title: Bioinformatics Data Scientist
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Weekly Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Position Summary:
The Bioinformatics Data Scientist will provide programming, analysis, and bioinformatics support to facilitate research involves developing computational programs, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating with scientists to design experiments and interpret results. The position will also support statistical analyses, troubleshoot software, and provide training on bioinformatics tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop programs and algorithms for data analysis
Collaborate with biologists on experimental design and analysis
Provide statistical analysis and interpret research data
Build and maintain bioinformatics infrastructure
Present findings at meetings and conferences

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, or related fields
Certification in Machine Learning
Skills in neurobehavioral imaging, machine learning, and multi-omics analysis
Proficiency in SQL, Python, MATLAB, R, and other programming tools
