As a Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for coating, removing old paint, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met through effective blasting techniques. Your work will involve using various blasting equipment to clean and prepare materials while adhering to strict safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate blasting equipment, including sandblasting and pressure washing, as per job specifications.
• Inspect surfaces to be blasted to determine the best methods for effective cleaning and preparation.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment in good working order by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous experience in blasting or a related trade preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to blasting operations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
