​​We are seeking a Blender to join the team at Our Home. In this role, you will be responsible for weighing, batching, and mixing ingredients used in our production lines. You will follow all safety and quality procedures, ensure that production meets the required standards, and provide support to the production staff.  ​ 

  • Have a thorough understanding of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the blender position 
  • Comply with safety procedures and programs 
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production areas and supporting equipment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols  
  • Serve as a point of contact for blending protocols during shift hours when management is not present 
  • Complete any other duties assigned by management
  • Shift: 2nd: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 3rd - 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Previous experience and training in a related field preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently 
  • Willingness to learn and understand the blending process 
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, with a focus on detail and adherence to food industry and safety standards 
  • Basic math skills required 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Physical requirements: ability to use hands for handling, reaching, and other tasks; ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell 
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs. 
  • Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus 
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes/airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration 
  • Forklift operation may be required 
  • All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety, food quality, safety, or plant security issues to management for appropriate action
  • All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF Food Safety Code
