Job Description

Basic Function

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical oversight, guidance, and support to ABA staff, ensuring that all therapy services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based practices and agency standards. This role focuses exclusively on clinical leadership, supervision, training, and quality assurance. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Site Manager, and Program Manager to maintain high standards of care.

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise Treatment Coordinators and all Direct Care Staff
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff
  • Review and evaluate employee performance and address clinical performance issues as needed
  • Ensure consistent adherence to ethical and professional standards of ABA practice

Clinical Program Oversight

  • Develop therapy programs resulting from assessments using research-based ABA interventions
  • Supervise and administer treatment to patients utilizing evidence-based ABA practices
  • Observe and assess client progress, modifying treatment plans when clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with team members to establish long-term therapeutic goals and review progress regularly

Training & Development

  • Train and supervise hourly staff and ABA students in intervention methods and clinical documentation
  • Demonstrate proper therapeutic techniques and ensure treatment fidelity across the team
  • Provide instruction to parents or caregivers for consistent home treatment implementation

Documentation & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all clinical documentation for third-party reimbursement
  • Prepare and submit periodic patient progress and monthly summary reports

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of ABA experience with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills preferred

Background Screening

  • A Background Criminal Investigation as required by the State of Massachusetts.
