We are seeking an energetic, nurturing, and confident BCBA who will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients on their caseload.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
•Complete assessments, design treatment plans, staff training, parent training, meet and collaborate with other professionals, conduct clinical meetings, provide first responder and other community member training.
•Provide our families with regular, interactive and lecture and hands on parent education (in 1:1 and monthly group structure).
•Provide interactive and lecture-based staff training, for teachers, paraprofessionals, and community members.
•Help others grow in their practice of ABA! Participate in daily and quarterly staff evaluation and performance feedback sessions. Supervision of BCBA and BCBA candidates, RBT's, and other staff.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Working Conditions:
•Location: West Hempstead, NY
•Monday – Friday / 8:00am – 4:00pm *Hours subject to change*
•School/Classroom Setting
Requirements
- Master’s degree from accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA)•Licensed Behavior Analyst, NY state
- Minimum 2 years' experience providing ABA services to children with Autism
- Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.)
- Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Experience supervising BCBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (RBT) preferred
- CPR/First Aid/BLS, HIV Awareness Training, and 8-hour BCBA Supervision Training
