Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. This position plays an important role in supporting company management through organized and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage weekly payroll and employee time reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit accounts
  • Maintain general ledger and financial transaction records
  • Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment reports
  • Assist management with budget tracking and financial summaries
  • File and organize accounting documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or business preferred
