Customer Service / BookkeeperLocation: Onsite Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $21-24 Employment Type: contract-to-permanent (36 months) Target Start Date: 2/13 or 2/16 Industry: Manufacturing (Pillow Manufacturing experience preferred, not required)Position Overview: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Customer Service / Bookkeeper to support order processing, fulfillment coordination, and light bookkeeping functions. This role is primarily computer-based with minimal phone interaction and requires a strong focus on accuracy and organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is comfortable managing multiple accounts, and understands that precision is criticalerrors are not an option.Key Responsibilities:Order Processing & Labeling (5060%)Manage 5060 customer accounts, including large retail customersEnter new orders daily, primarily from email communicationCreate and set up law labels for manufacturingEnsure accurate and error-free order entry and documentationFulfillment Support & Shipment Preparation (3040%)Create packing releases for drivers, including quantities per packagePrepare and distribute shipping labelsCoordinate with warehouse and management teams (must be able to walk to warehouse area)Generate and send customer invoicesCustomer Service Support (Approximately 10%)Resolve minor customer discrepancies or disputesMaintain detail oriented, clear communication with customers via emailRequirements:Software & Systems MAS 90 / Sage (preferred)Qualifications & SkillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong computer proficiency and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneouslyPrevious customer service or bookkeeping experience preferredManufacturing experience a plus, but not required
