Bookkeeper Apply
Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and categorize financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements and assist in compiling reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in bookkeeping or accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with accounting software, including Drake, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Experience working in a public accounting firm.
- Familiarity with payroll processing.
