Overview

Market Bullet is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, trustworthy, and experienced in handling financial data for a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and payment platforms
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards
• Support tax preparation and work with external accountants or auditors as needed
• Maintain well-organized and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Experience using < is a strong plus
