We are seeking a self‑motivated, responsible, and detail‑oriented Full‑Charge Bookkeeper to join our fast‑growing firm. We provide comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks training services to a wide variety of clients, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a client‑focused, service‑oriented environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations for multiple clients
  • Process payroll for clients with varying schedules
  • Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings across multiple states
  • Complete year‑end closing processes for assigned clients
  • Assist in building tax workpapers for client engagements

BENEFITS OFFERED:

  • SALARY RANGE: $58,000-$68,000
  • Health Benefits: Employer offers an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) with a monthly allowance to reimburse employees for individual health insurance
  • Retirement Plan: 401k with a 3% match
  • 2 weeks paid time of and paid holidays

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, double‑entry accounting, general bookkeeping processes)
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience
  • Accounting degree or certificate preferred
  • Solid understanding of payroll law and willingness to keep up with changing regulations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to problem‑solve and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to verify own work and follow internal controls
  • Professional communication skills with clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff bookkeepers
  • Willingness to work overtime during deadline‑driven periods
