We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at TAMARA FELDMAN DESIGN. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the overall financial health of our organization. The Bookkeeper will work closely with our designers, project managers, and other staff members to ensure seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, maintaining financial records, and reconciling accounts.

- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and other financial documents.

- Handle bank deposits and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

- Monitor cash flow and assist in maintaining suitable cash reserves.

- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

- Assist with budget preparation, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to allocated budgets.

- Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating payment schedules and resolving any billing discrepancies.

- Assist the management team in analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and generating various financial reports as required.

- Stay updated with relevant accounting regulations and procedures and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

- Proficient in using bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools. QuickBooks knowledge a must. Studio Designer preferably

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Experience in the design or architecture industry is a plus.

- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
