Join Our Team as a Bookkeeper/Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.
- Manage payroll functions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate employee compensation.
- Track and categorize income and expenses for various projects, providing detailed reporting to management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities and monitor financial progress against targets.
- Prepare and file taxes, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that guide decision-making.
- Support the management of financial audits and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
