Whitman Advisory is supporting a client in the construction industry with their search for a Bookkeeper . The role supports a group of four related businesses (two are the primary operating entities, and one has minimal activity). The businesses operate across multiple states and work primarily with contractors. Key Responsibilities Enter and record transactions in QuickBooks (checks, deposits, and other entries) Collaborate directly with the owner to ensure accurate classification/coding of transactions Support day-to-day bookkeeping needs, including maintaining organized and up-to-date records Utilize Excel for basic tracking, reconciliation support, and reporting as needed Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks (required) Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Construction accounting experience preferred (or similar contractor-based/industry exposure) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow consistent coding/classification practices Comfortable working closely with an owner in a hands-on, small-team environment Work Arrangement & Schedule Hybrid: On-site and remote 3 days per week Specific days/hours to be discussed directly with the owner #J-18808-Ljbffr
