Amaze Health is a virtual healthcare company unlike any other. We provide concierge-style virtual care at the touch of a button. It’s like having that “doctor friend” everyone wishes they had for anything health-related (current health concern, illness, accident, chronic condition, mental health, etc.). Amaze is the always-accessible, independent healthcare partner dedicated to empowering our patients with all the care, tools and resources they need to thrive within an increasingly complex and difficult US healthcare system. We don’t just take care of people; we partner with them and change lives. Join our innovative team as we transform healthcare in America, one patient at a time.

We are actively seeking a full-cycle Accountant/Bookkeeper to become a part of our team. In your role at Amaze, you will handle a range of financial and accounting tasks to support a healthcare startup. Your responsibilities will encompass cash flow management, accounts payable processing, maintaining the general ledger, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong time-management abilities and effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with both the accounting team and other employees across the company.

  • Collect, monitor, and report daily cash activities while adjusting cash forecasts as needed
  • Process, maintain, and report all accounts payable records and payments as required
  • Prepare month-end internal financial statements, including balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement analysis, along with forecasting
  • Create any accounting ad hoc reports as requested by management and clients
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Accounts Receivable duties to include applying incoming cash to customer accounts, workflow management and responding to customer inquires as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position
  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Must be based in Denver and willing to work in the office on a weekly basis
  • An associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business management is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • CPA (current or expired) - preferred

Willing to consider candidates who are interested in working a minimum of 20 hours per week with the ability to flex up to 40 hours, as needed.

Pay for this position is $55,000 to $90,000 - depending on experience, education and certification(s)
