The BPM Administrator III serves as the process management and workflow technical lead in the strategic and tactical oversight and planning of business process models and development using OpenText MetaStorm BPM technology. The BPM Administrator will serve as a key liasion for IT and work closely with business process subject matter experts in gathering requirements. A component of this role will be the mentoring of business units and IT staff related to BPM concepts and best practices. The Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement technical applications that provide the most effective business solutions for clients. The BPM System Administrator will support the full lifecycle of BPM solution delivery from process design (including modeling and development of business processes) through the implementation, configuration, custom scripting, and application development within a BPM systems environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals or groups and give presentations utilizing various audio/visual support aids as appropriate.

Serve as the technical Liaison to the business units, providing best practices, system analysis, research and support on the BPM system.
Provides thought-leadership to fellow team members in a matrix environment and the customers across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements. This includes scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical and design.
Analysis of the current "as is" processes and recommendations for "to be" process models using BPM best practices Enhancement of the business processes through the analysis, that enhance process, improve user
productivity and streamline data integration with third-party service providers.
Manage and coordinate the technical elements of the BPM Infrastructure and ensure Business Continuity Plan for system, ensuring full redundancy is in place at all times and complete fail-over procedures are regularly tested.
Provide technical direction and leadership to project implementation teams; guide internal and external resources in the completion of their project responsibilities and ensure that established policies and procedures are followed.
Monitor BPM system activity across platforms and system components and create reporting capabilities for process Key Performance Indicators.
Provide analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting efforts to maintain system availability.
Schedule and manage application software and data updates, testing, and distribution.
Provide and maintain user, systems and operations documentation and provide management reports showing system availability, usage, and capacity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
7+ years of total experience with BPM/Workflow based products like MetaStorm OpenTextBPM.
5+ years of demonstrated analyst experience using modeling languages, technical product life cycle concepts and requirements engineering, among other applied skills and knowledge.
5+ years' experience in Software Development, with 3+ years experience as an architect/designer.
3+ years' experience integrating distributed Applications and services including .Net, J2EE, and Client/Server Applications.
2+ years of experience with developing database connectivity, including ODBC and JDBC.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Fluent with Microsoft Office and Visio to develop documentation and diagrams as needed
Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills Communication skills including facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution and the ability to write and present information in various forms
Familiarity with requirements gathering and software development life cycles
