. is seeking to hire a Brake Roll Operator for our client in Mayville, WI!

Pay $22.37 HR

2ND Shift Base pay rate
Will train on 1st shift
Once trained, the candidate will receive the 2nd shift Differential of $0.50

NOTE:
Role requires past brake experience and they would have to be able to run both the brake presses and make a good part.

2ND Shift: MONDAY-THURSDAY 2:30PM 1AM with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

To operate and set-up and tear down a variety of press brakes to perform forming operations on all types of material. Must be able to set up and operate automatic back gauges and forming rolls with minimal training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to read and understand blue prints and routings and produce parts from the information obtained from them to the required tolerances.
Responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
Responsible for taking care of routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and neat.
Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper machine guarding.
Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess and be able to use machinist squares, dial calipers, protractors and other inspection equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job.
Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as lifting, pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.


PUNCH PRESS AND BRAKE DEPARTMENT REQUIRED TOOLING LIST

Per article X, section "K of the contract these tools must be acquired within the prescribed time period in order for the employee to be classified.

Allen Wrench Set, (1/16 inch sizes)

Machinist Square, (12 or 24 inch)

Tape measure, (12 foot)

Calipers, 8 inch minimum (Dial or Digital)

Center Punch

Scriber

Ball Peen Hammer

15/16-inch Combination Wrench, (Punch Press only)
