JOD DESCRIPTION:
- The candidate should have a minimum of ten years experience after graduation from college.
- The candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in central Texas.
- For this pursuit, central Texas is considered to be within 75 miles of Austin, Texas
- The candidate's experience should include at least one of the following:
- Water sources, water treatment, water distribution, water pump stations, and water storage
- Wastewater treatment, wastewater collection, wastewater conveyance, and wastewater lift stations.
- Water Re-Use
- Municipal utilities, excluding electrical utilities
- Municipal Public Works such as streets and drainage.
- The following candidates should be excluded until further notice:
- Transportation Engineers
- Development Engineers
- Hydrology & Hydraulics (sometimes called Water Resources) Engineers
- Public Service Engineers (that is, anyone who is currently employed by a municipality, utility district, or agency of the State for more than five years, and has no previous consulting experience).
- Any engineer who received their license before 2008
- Any engineer who has more than 20 years cumulative experience
