We have partnered with a civil engineering firm in the Indianapolis, IN area to provide them with a Bridge Inspection Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Bridge Inspection Engineer:

#1. Bridge inspection experience (3+ years)

#2. Qualified Team Leader certification (FHWA NHI 12-049)

#3. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification

#4. Strong technical writing and communication skills

#5. Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and meet clients

Requirements of the Bridge Inspection Engineer:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT)
  • Capable of meeting with clients in person
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • 3 or more years of experience in bridge inspection
  • Qualified Team Leader Bridge Inspector's Reference Manual (FHWA NHI 12-049) Section 1.2.3

Additional Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Civil Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state
  • Bridge Inspection Team Leader Certification in any state, Indiana preferred.

Other Key Requirements:

  • 100% onsite, in-office work
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
