Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician Location: St. Stephens Church, VA Hours: Part-time in home setting Start date: ASAP $250.00 ABA Sign-On Bonus* Pay range $20.00 - $25.00 Join our growing energetic and compassionate team that provides a supportive work environment, training, and career advancement in Applied Behavior Analysis. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts/Licensed Behavior Analysts provide monthly trainings and ongoing supervision to maintain ethical and effective treatment plans for the children and families we serve. Job Requirements: Have experience in the field of autism and special needs, education, mental health or ABA Minimum BA/BS with 6 months – 1 years' experience with ABA. BA/BS preferred in the fields of psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, school psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related field. Individuals with other experience working with children are encouraged to apply. Available primarily 2pm-7pm multiple days per week with potential for morning hours as well; able to maintain consistent availability and schedule; Commit to 1 year of employment Possess strong clinical insight, and critical thinking skills Bilingual speaking therapists highly desired Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and driver's insurance Job Responsibilities: Be fun, energetic, and motivating for the children and families we work with Provide skills training services and/or behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families both in in home and clinic settings Part-time with ability to increase hours to full time (up to 25 hours per week dependent on the Technician's and client's availability); available multiple days per week; reliable Travel between clients' homes within 45 minutes from Richmond Maintain accurate records of sessions including session notes and data collection Provide feedback to parents/caregivers under the direction of the BCBA/LBA Collaborate with other technicians and clinical staff in the agency, as well as schools and other therapies client's receive Able to work as a technician who implements treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA/LBA, seeking out additional support and supervision from clinical team as needed Participate in on-going trainings and supervision. Must meet all training and certification requirements Must obtain RBT Certification within 60 days of employment Physical Demands Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets). Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities. Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.) Benefits: Competitive pay at $20-25/hour, dependent on education and experience (i.e., ABA); ability to work independently Paid mileage and drive time between appointments Paid initial and on-going trainings on various clinical topics Medical/Dental/Vision insurance benefits available for staff working 20 or more hours per week. 24/7 Virtual healthcare and mental health support membership for employee household available within 45 days from employment start date. Accrued sick pay for all staff and accrued vacation pay and paid holidays for all staff working 33 or more hours a week. Paid RBT training Free supervision and mentorship for students working towards their BCaBA and BCBA certification Opportunities for advancement *ABA Sign-On Bonus is paid after 90 days working with clients. Bonus will vary based on ABA work experience, education, certification and meeting all job requirements. All pre-stated availability and locations must continue for 90 days.
