The has a fantastic opportunity for a Budget Administrative Specialist join an excellent team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent, Classified Non-Exempt position with the Fiscal Operations Division.
The AA Salary Range for this position is between $3,169.00 to $5,483.00 per month.
What you will do!
The Administrative Specialist 2 (AS 2) will support the HSD Medicaid, Behavioral Health and Administrative budget staff and managers under the OHA HSD Planning and Analysis (BPA) Unit. The person in this role will carry out special projects on behalf of the units HSD Budget Administrator and other staff in support of the unit. This position will serve as the key point of contact for scheduling and communications for the unit, serves as a general resource person, and administrative problem solver to staff at all levels of the unit and partners and stakeholders, both internally and externally. This person will support with hiring process, onboarding/offboarding of new staff members, system access coordination, training, office supplies, legislative sessions support, update and maintain internal policies and procedures for the unit, and other activities for HSD Budget.
The person in this role will demonstrate exceptional communication, attention to detail, organization and planning, creativity, innovation, and problem solving skills. In this role, you will demonstrate a high level professionalism, respect, empathy and compassion in working with our diverse communities, leaders, and agency staff.

What we are looking for:
Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
