Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Budget Analyst to assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will monitor company spending, prepare financial reports, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, an ability to work independently, and a passion for improving financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze past budgets, financial reports, and trends to assist in budget development.
  • Prepare budget reports and financial statements for management.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align budget allocations with strategic goals.
  • Monitor organizational spending to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Recommend cost-saving measures to increase profitability and financial efficiency.
  • Conduct variance analysis and forecast future financial outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
