Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming and informative environment for customers, ensuring a positive and comfortable shopping experience.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and potential risks associated with different cannabis products.
• Sales:
• Execute sales transactions accurately and efficiently through our point-of-sale system.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
• Compliance:
• Obtain and maintain an Illinois Agent Identification (Agent ID) in accordance with state regulations.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Contribute to restocking and organizing products on the sales floor.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cannabis regulations in Illinois is an advantage.
• Successful completion of the Illinois Agent Identification application process.
