SUMMARY

Are you an Electrical Engineering Major interested in Building Automation Systems?

Havtech Solutions is looking for Summer Interns!

Havtech is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most experienced commercial HVAC equipment, building automation, service, and energy solutions provider. Havtech represents 50+ manufacturers in HVAC Equipment and Building Automation for both commercial and industrial markets. With the number of products we represent, along with the skill and ability of our technicians to integrate multiple systems, we give our clients the opportunity to leverage the best equipment across manufacturers.

WHAT WILL YOUR INTERNSHIP CONSIST OF?
  • Learning our systems and products from a network of qualified Havtech Solutions Controls Technicians.
  • On-site training applying knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital control systems by assisting the Controls Team with installations, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of building automation systems.
  • Exposure to multiple languages of systems software used in technical projects

QUALIFICATIONS include the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree currently in progress in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or other related areas.
  • Interest in the HVAC industry and a potential HVAC-related career track.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Web-enabled applications.
  • Ready to learn and volunteer to assist others.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior in a team environment.
  • Excellent math aptitude.
  • Possess time management skills and the ability to follow up.
  • Junior and senior level students are strongly preferred, but class level is not required.
