Project Manager – Building Management Systems (BMS)Midlands£60,000 - £70,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Training + Technical Progression + Pension + HealthcareAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS) to lead the delivery of projects across commercial and industrial environments. This role is responsible for managing projects from design and planning through to commissioning and handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end delivery of BMS projects, including HVAC controls, integration, upgrades, and new installationsCoordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and suppliersAct as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholdersDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plansOversee system design reviews, technical submissions, and documentationEnsure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and health & safety requirementsMonitor project progress, manage variations, and report on performanceSupport commissioning, testing, and final handover to the clientIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvements and value engineeringRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience managing BMS / Building Automation projectsStrong understanding of HVAC systems, control strategies, and system integrationExperience working with common BMS platforms (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, or similar)Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control schematicsStrong commercial awareness, including cost control and contract managementQualifications (Preferred)Degree or diploma in Engineering, Building Services, or a related fieldProject management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) – desirableCSCS / SMSTS or equivalent (where applicable)What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on varied and technically interesting BMS projectsSupportive team environment with career progression opportunitiesOngoing training and professional development
