BMS Lead Commissioning Engineer Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance (£5,750)Project-Based Role 4+ Days per Week On SiteWe are looking for an experienced BEMS Commissioning Engineer with strong knowledge of the Schneider platform to join a fast-moving, project-focused team delivering high-quality Building Energy Management Systems on live construction sites.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of BEMS, including control panels that monitor and control mechanical and electrical systems within active construction environments.You will also prove full interaction between the BEMS control system and third-party equipment, ensuring a complete and operational handover.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-commission and commission BEMS systems and associated control panelsEnsure integration between BEMS and M&E systems including:Mechanical systems (air, hydraulic, FCUs, chilled beams)Electrical systemsEnergy monitoring and meteringLighting, fire, security and smart technologiesRead and interpret technical documentation such as:Functional Design SpecificationsInterface MatricesNetwork Architecture DrawingsPoints Schedules, RFIs, Technical SubmittalsComplete all commissioning paperwork in line with project requirementsLiaise with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clientsWork effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced site environmentsMaintain strict adherence to health & safety proceduresTravel & AllowancesProject-based role requiring site attendance at least 4 days per weekDaily travel or mobility allowance available for anyone travelling.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceElectrical engineering qualification (apprenticeship or equivalent)Proven track record delivering BEMS projects, specifically:SchneiderTridium (desirable)Strong technical understanding of BEMS systemsExperience with BACnet and/or ModbusAbility to understand software, controls and graphicsValid CSCS or ECS site card
