As our Business to Business (B2B) Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting small businesses by delivering exceptional service. You will engage with our valued customers over the phone, assisting them with order placements, product inquiries, and resolving any service-related questions they may have. Your expertise and dedication will make a significant impact on their success!
Job Duties include:
- Conduct credit verification for new accounts to determine appropriate terms and credit limits.
- Set up new customer accounts in the Sage system.
- Manage overdue accounts and contact customers to discuss past due balances.
- Regularly review customer accounts to assess credit worthiness for releasing new orders.
- Re-evaluate existing customer accounts to adjust terms and credit limits as necessary.
- Post payments into Sage system.
- Ensure invoices and statements are sent in a timely manner.
- Run customer statements monthly.
- Complete accounts receivable month-end procedures.
- Respond promptly to credit inquiries from vendors regarding our customers.
- Data entry for sales orders, pick tickets, invoicing, produce information and order status.
- Resolve product or service-related problems.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum three years’ experience direct customer service and trouble-shooting experience, either in-person or by phone.
- Ability to determine and handle confidential company and customer information.
- Excellent customer service skills including a positive, friendly attitude; strong phone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including accurate punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Ability to multitask and reach deadlines while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, creative environment as a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills while interpreting a variety of instructions in written, verbal or schedule format.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. With advanced computer and website navigation knowledge with the ability to learn new systems and apply that knowledge frequently throughout the day.
- Proficiency in Distributor Software computer modules of Order Entry, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Billing (for example Sage Mas200, Great Plains, or Macola).
- Ability to develop relationships with customers.
- Knowledge of knitting and/or crochet techniques and patterns is highly desired but not required.

The starting pay range for this Non-Exempt/Hourly position is:
$23.00- $25.00 per year.
