Location: Farragut, TN office Account Managers are targeted to make $69,930+ per year (Base + Commission) What's in it for you? Uncapped monthly commission Full Benefits Package – beginning first day of employment Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 3 weeks vacation and 2 weeks sick time Paid holidays 401(k) eligible after 30 days with excellent company match Discounted TDS services Generous ramp up period with supplemental income Responsibilities Manage existing account base by regularly contacting accounts (via phone and in person), acting as their resource for sales negotiations, and meeting or exceeding the sales and revenue growth goals. Actively manage the existing base to retain customers and reduce market churn. Provide education on the industry, technology and TDS products and services. Focus on market share growth by prospecting and selling new businesses. Identify, contact, and build relationships through telephone, in‑person cold calls, networking, and referrals to obtain appointments. Build solutions, propose, and close sales to meet or exceed goals. Create proposals, write, and submit accurate orders following the sales process. Manage and submit moves, adds, changes and deletions (MACD) to the existing customer base. Develop a tactical sales plan for prospecting, growth, and retention to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue growth goals. Keep accurate activity tracking, status and forecasts in the CRM. Report progress weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Attend industry and trade group meetings and local events to increase visibility, identify opportunities, and develop contacts. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience. 2+ years of inside or outside sales experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Other Qualifications Experience in successful prospecting and generating leads through cold calling. Access to cell phone. Previous Telecommunications experience. Winning “can‑do” attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to set and attain goals with a proven track record. Well organized, good time management skills, and attention to detail. Customer service experience, motivation to serve, and genuine interest in helping others. Comprehensive product and application knowledge with high‑volume problem resolution. Competitive nature, strong passion to sell, and mastery of sales processes. Time intensity and proven ability to solve problems quickly. Ability to identify problems, gather data, consult others, make decisions, and implement solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with customers at all levels. Confidence and empathy to ease customers. Quick grasp of new concepts and willingness to learn. Independent or interdependent work ability. Must maintain satisfactory sales quotas. Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet).
