Job Description

Job Description

As the Business Analyst, you’ll be a key player in facilitating communication and alignment between business stakeholders and development teams. You’ll run essential meetings—including stand-ups, retrospectives, and project kickoffs—and step into a “Scrum Master” role when needed (prior experience in this is helpful, but not required!). Your time will be evenly split between business users and developers, with a slight lean into technical collaboration, all while maintaining a strong analytical perspective.

If you’re ready to take on a collaborative and impactful role where you can bridge the gap between teams and drive results, we’d love to hear from you!

Salary $85,000–$105,000, for immediate and confidential consideration, send a current resume to Kristen Lee on LinkedIn or apply directly to this posting today!

Collaborative Leadership:

  • Lead stand-ups, retrospectives, and kickoff meetings for various projects.
  • Work closely with tech leads and senior developers for guidance when required.

Business Requirement Definition:

  • Gather, document, and map business requirements in collaborative discussions with business teams.
  • Translate business needs into actionable tasks for the development teams via clear kickoff meetings.

Problem Resolution:

  • Facilitate discussions between support groups, dev teams, and business partners to address and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Map and coordinate solutions without delving into code or databases.

Tools:

  • Utilize tools such as JIRA (phasing out), Confluence, and Wikis for project management and documentation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team. We’re looking for someone who can step into this role with confidence, utilizing their organizational skills to help define and deliver business requirements while fostering communication between teams. Apply today!

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration across departments.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize task loads, managing competing demands effectively.
  • Exposure to development workflows and an understanding of code is helpful but not required – this role is analytical, not technical.
