Business Analyst (Remote Opportunity) Mind Computing is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our Agile Scrum team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in Agile environments and has a proven ability to translate business needs into effective, high-quality software solutions. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of scalable, user‑focused products. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements. Develop clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Manage and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Support sprint planning by defining and prioritizing tasks that deliver incremental business value. Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback. Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Partner with development teams to design and implement solutions that effectively meet business needs. Oversee testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support development, deployment, and maintenance. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and applying Agile best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst. Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, preferably within the SAFe framework . Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and recommend effective solutions. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate effectively. Additional Qualifications (Preferred) SAFe/Agile experience with Certified SAFe Practitioner certification. Experience working with the VA or other Government agencies . Ability to obtain a government security clearance .
