We’re looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in a critical role supporting our Guidewire Claims Center and Guidewire Billing Center operations. You’ll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex operational needs into effective solutions that improve the experience of our members, agents, and internal partners. What You’ll Do As a Business Analyst on this team, you’ll partner closely with Claims and Billing stakeholders to understand workflows, identify pain points, and help deliver technology solutions that drive operational efficiency. Day-to-day, this involves facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, developing functional specifications, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring delivered solutions meet quality standards and business needs. You’ll actively participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, story refinement, retrospectives — and work alongside Product Owners to define user stories and “done” criteria. You’ll also support UAT and QA activities, provide production support, and regularly demo completed work to stakeholders across the organization. Beyond project delivery, you’ll serve as a subject-matter expert in Claims and Billing processes, helping teams understand the downstream impacts of system changes and ensuring that new capabilities integrate smoothly into existing workflows. What You Bring 5+ years of business and systems analysis, testing, or related experience 5+ years of experience with requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and project planning Strong understanding of claims and/or billing operations, preferably in the insurance industry Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands‑on experience in Agile environments Experience with test automation strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and engage large groups of stakeholders Demonstrated ability to create and facilitate workflow diagrams and system diagrams to support process documentation and solution design Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Candidate must live within driving distance of our Home Office and have high‑speed internet (internet speed test required). Hiring Range: $79,013 - $91,463 * Salary Range: $79,013 - $104,590 *The hiring range represents Mutual of Enumclaw’s current hiring pay scale for this role.
