Summary: The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a Senior Training Specialist for the CT-KIND project, which aims to replace the existing LINK system with a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The role involves creating and managing training materials and programs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting organizational change management. The specialist will play a key role in preparing staff for the system transition and ensuring training materials meet the needs of child welfare staff.

Position Info:

  • Title: Business Analyst
  • Client: CT DCF
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Location: 505 Hudson Street Hartford, Connecticut 06106
  • Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and programs for the CT-KIND system.
  • Collaborate with business and technical staff to align training content with system functionality.
  • Facilitate focus groups, meetings, and training sessions with various stakeholders.
  • Assess business readiness and contribute to organizational change management activities.
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for training sessions and materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, education, communication, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience designing and implementing training programs.
  • Knowledge of Connecticut's child welfare policies and federal CCWIS regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in e-learning software (such as Articulate) and learning management systems (Saba) preferred.
  • Strong skills in instructional design, adult learning principles, and facilitation methods.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
