Job Title: Business Analyst
Summary
The client is looking for very personable individuals who possess a very flexible attitude to join an application maintenance services team. We are looking for an intermediate to senior Business Analyst resources with extensive experience working with clients and supporting application development as well as application maintenance. This resource will be responsible for the following:
Business Analyst- Must be capable of big picture thinking to analyze beyond the immediate solution and identify all impacts and risks.- Resource needed to capture requirements for a Security Operations Center and package selection RFP process- Must be able to consult business clients talking in business terms and translate that into requirements.- Interacting with business clients to gather their business and technical requirements.- Analyze requirements to provide solutions satisfactory to the client, taking into account established standards and guidelines.- Provide estimates for implementing requirements.- Translating business requirements into User Stories.- Understand the importance of the user experience and user interfaces.- Design user interfaces for business application.- Performing functional testing of application and business functions may be required periodically- Ensure solution is viable and cohesive with existing applications.- Liaise with developers and testers to support implementing the design.
Other- The resource must possess very strong communication skills and experience working with clients at all levels- The resource must be possess a commitment to high quality- Must be a team player and possess a collaborative mindset- Must possess a flexible open minded attitude and have strong interpersonal team skills- Must be able to work in a self-sufficient manner and possess strong problem solving skills- Must have experience working with and talking to clients at the working level within an organization- Identify issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviation- Resource must be willing to help with testing and testing activities
Required Skills
- 6+ years' experience in BA role performing duties outlined below.
- Strong requirements gathering business and technical requirements and ability to translate into needs and technical specification documents etc.
- Experience working on application/systems development implementation projects.
- Experience/Ability to capture requirements for a Security Operations Center and package selection RFP process
- CBAP or other related certification/formal education strong asset.
Work Site: Minneapolis, MN (Remote work, 20% travel needed)
