About the Role
We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Business Analyst with approximately 5 years of professional experience to support our product, development, and operations teams. This role will focus heavily on documentation, requirements gathering, process mapping, tracking deliverables, and serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
This is a key role will require close working with client stakeholders, and other team members by owning documentation, workflows, requirement organization, and cross-team coordination. Technical knowledge is helpful as this is primarily a functional/business-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document business requirements.
Develop clear and comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and other project documentation.
Translate business needs into structured documentation that can be easily understood by development teams.
Maintain and update requirement artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Process Mapping & Workflow Design
Create flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart,
Analyze current-state processes and help design future-state workflows.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
3. Liaison Between Business & Technology
Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and the development team.
Ensure developers have clear, timely, and accurate information to begin and complete work.
Participate in requirement reviews, grooming sessions, and sprint planning (if Agile).
Provide clarifications to the dev team throughout development cycles.
4. Project Tracking & Coordination
Assist with task tracking, follow-ups, documentation control, and milestone updates.
Support project leads (including Mehwish and Christa) in tracking progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
Ensure timely communication and updates across teams.
5. Quality Assurance Support (Nice to Have)
Assist with test case review, UAT coordination, and validating that delivered work meets documented requirements.
Help organize and document testing outcomes, issues, and resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or product environments.
Strong proficiency in business documentation, including BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
Experience with process flows, workflow diagrams, and visual documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to interact with both business and technical teams.
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience working with Agile teams
Some familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, data flows)
Experience supporting project managers or assisting with project tracking.
Ability to facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, or cross-functional meetings.
Personality & Working Style
Proactive, structured, dependable.
Strong follow-through and accountability.
Comfortable taking administrative/documentation workload off senior team members.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
