Business Analyst
Location: Minnesota (Onsite)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, workflow analysis, integration documentation, and UAT facilitation for enterprise initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. The role will work closely with DPS stakeholders, MNIT, MMB, and an implementation vendor to document current-state and future-state processes and support integrations with SWIFT and SEMA4.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Lead pre-discovery sessions with DPS stakeholders to review processes and forms
Analyze and document current-state workflows for all identified processes and forms
Partner with the vendor to validate and document future-state processes aligned to DPS requirements
Capture and document additional requirements outside the EDMS project scope for future consideration

Integration Design and Management
Coordinate and fulfill vendor configuration and data requests for each process/form
Develop detailed integration specifications for SWIFT and SEMA4 including inbound and outbound transactions
Collaborate on integration strategy development and project scheduling aligned with overall objectives
Oversee integration activities with MNIT, DPS, and MMB to ensure successful execution
Define and document data elements, success/failure criteria, exception handling, and error scenarios for SWIFT and SEMA4 integrations

Testing and Validation
Design and document high-level test scenarios for integrations including success and failure paths
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for forms, processes, and integrations and obtain stakeholder sign-off

Project Planning and Support
Assist in building and maintaining project plans including Test Plan, Communication Plan, Training Plan, and Deployment Plan
Present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and ensure shared understanding
Understand and communicate complex business processes across multiple business functions
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff

Required Experience and Skills
8+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
Minimum two (2) long-term engagements (1+ year each) in a Business Analyst capacity
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level solutions and business process improvement initiatives
Proven ability to lead requirements gathering for complex IT projects in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and business functions
