Red Cedar is seeking a Business Analyst with an understanding of the offshore environment and project management practices to join our team. This position will work in support of a project manager to support a variety of tasks and activities by applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in support of project activities. The Business Analyst will assist in preparing and delivering briefings, reports, and summaries to support client activities. As a member of the team, the Business Analyst will be part of the vital link between our client and supporting project priorities. We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong communications skills, the ability to support multiple tasks, as well as be a team player with a problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Government policy research and documentation
  • Outer Continental Shelf/offshore environment research and documentation
  • Prepare agendas, briefings, reports and summaries to support discussions and project priorities
  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques
  • Support development of project management tools, templates and products
  • Maintain accountability and ensure update of file repositories
  • Support the design, documentation, updating and maintenance of project management processes
  • Support the development, update, and maintenance of project files
  • Close coordination with PM and project team

Requirements

·        US Citizenship Required

·        Ability to pass client background investigation

·        Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience in business analysis or project support
  • Understanding of:
    • Offshore environments (oil, gas and energy industries)
    • Project Management Practices
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Experience developing agendas, briefings, reports and summaries
