We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Business Analyst to help optimize our systems environment and ensure our team has everything we need to produce and ship our customers' orders on time and at the highest quality. Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain production/operations reports from ERP/CRM; publish in Power BI with row-level security and refresh schedules.
- Define KPIs that genuinely reflect company goals, ensuring attention is given only to meaningful, actionable metrics and eliminating unnecessary noise.
Data Integrity & Governance
- Audit inventory, item master, and transactional data; reconcile deltas; drive root-cause fixes.
- Implement data standards (naming, required fields, Dept/Class/Location usage) and validation rules.
- Partner with senior leadership to set standards on data governance and change control.
Pipelines & Automation
- Stand up repeatable data flows via Power Query, SQL (views/procs), and Python (pandas).
- Assist with the setup of and maintenance of data warehouse schema.
- Identify missing data points; propose schema/field additions; assess feasibility and impact.
- Instrument monitoring and alerting for pipeline failures and stale data.
Planning Support
- Support demand planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management analytics (time-series views, cohort analyses, slow/non-moving stock).
SOPs & Adoption
- Document and refine SOPs; deliver concise training; drive usage with clear success metrics.
Qualifications:
- Experience with operating and configuring NetSuite and utilizing SuiteAnalytics Saved Searches
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, array/dynamic functions), strong SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions).
- Python for analytics (pandas, NumPy; Matplotlib for quick visuals).
- Power BI development (data modeling, DAX fundamentals, parameters, scheduled refresh; API or connector-based pulls).
- Experience pulling from ERP/CRM data models; ability to translate operational questions into reliable datasets.
- Manufacturing or operations exposure (items/BOMs, inventory moves, WO/production data).
- Demonstrated track record of finding data discrepancies and landing permanent fixes.
- Strong communication—executive-ready summaries, tight documentation, clean visuals.
- Nice to haves: GIT Discipline for versioning PowerBI Assets, Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Salary and Benefits:
- $65,000 – 85,000 per year
