Business Analyst Hybrid | Trenton, NJ

Location: Trenton, NJ
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite Tuesday & Thursday; 3 days remote)
Duration: 12-month contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support projects involving critical data processing systems. The role includes business analysis, testing, production support, and limited Help Desk/customer support responsibilities. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Develop workflows, process documentation, and improvement recommendations
• Create UI mockups, wireframes, storyboards, and system flows
• Support technical teams with requirement clarification
• Perform system and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Develop user documentation and provide end-user training
• Provide production support and assist with Help Desk activities
• Assist with limited project coordination tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience working within a structured SDLC methodology
• Strong skills with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with:
  • Testing, training, and user support
  • UI design and documentation
  • Customer Service / Help Desk support
• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
• Strong experience gathering requirements via interviews, workshops, and documentation review
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  (Relevant education, certifications, or related roles may substitute for experience)
