The Business Applications Intern role is designed to complement a student’s academic learning while introducing them to Information Technology within a corporate environment. The internship provides hands‑on experience through meaningful assignments, exposure to related business functions, and insight into the streaming and cable television industries. Interns can apply classroom knowledge in real‑world scenarios, and in return, we benefit from their fresh perspectives and support in achieving key business objectives. The hourly rate for this job is $18.00. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administration, monitoring and maintenance of software infrastructure andapplications. Oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of an organization’s information systems. Identify areas of opportunity for increased performance or workflow processes BASIC REQUIREMENTS Applicant must be 18 years or older A rising Junior, Senior, or recent graduate from a four-year university who is currently pursuing or has a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 Must be able to work 40 hours a week and commit to and perform intern assignments for the 12- week duration of the program Must be able to work in a hybrid environment OTHER REQUIREMENTS (soft skills, nice-to-have, preferred skills) Communication Skills Work in Teams Technical Skills (IT/computer) General Administration of Applications End User Support Change Control / IT Ticketing System Experience Clear/concise documentation of issues/problems Application/Software Testing Experience Hallmark Media is an equal opportunity employer.
