We are seeking a strategic, self-motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in driving growth. This role is perfect for a driven closer with a talent for building trust-based relationships with C-level executives and a passion for identifying marketing opportunities with brands. You’ll thrive on prospecting, sourcing leads, conducting personable outreach, and effectively staying top of mind with potential clients.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, engaging, and resilient, with a deep understanding of marketing agency services and the ability to articulate the value of marketing transformation for both B2B and B2C clients. Success in this role means excelling in consultative, customized sales approaches, uncovering market opportunities, and closing deals. If you have relentless perseverance, business acumen, and a proactive mindset, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

You thrive on closing deals, building relationships, and developing creative strategies to reach decision-makers. Your network is your superpower and you’re not afraid to leverage it. Whether it’s cold calls, presentations, or follow-ups, you take initiative and execute with precision. Must be a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success in new business acquisition. Minimum 3 years experience in a business development role, selling services (not products), preferably in an agency. You have flexibility and ability to adjust on-the-fly to new demands and business environments with a sense of urgency. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and people skills working with our internal team and client partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect, pitch, and win new business across B2B and B2C industries, offering compelling value propositions

  • Maintain a robust and up-to-date sales pipeline of opportunities, identifying and pursuing client partners to achieve set revenue quotas

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of prospective customers’ businesses, developing and tailoring solutions with our team to meet their needs and timelines

  • Effectively communicate, demonstrate and present lotus823 services and value proposition to prospects

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with multiple senior level contacts at target accounts with an emphasis on engagement with executive level prospects

  • Effectively articulate and educate customers on lotus823’s value through compelling executive-level presentations

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by building and growing a pipeline of prospects and closing new business

  • Drive expertise in solution selling and managing the sales cycle for a complex business offerings

  • Collaborate with internal team to build and foster strong relationships with client partners

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments and build market insights into pipeline and sales strategy

  • Provide accurate sales updates, reports and forecasts to leadership, contributing to overall sales strategy

  • Participate in relevant marketing and industry events

  • Accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery

  • Keep up with industry trends, agency services and industry verticals

Starting Base Pay: $50,000 to $60,000, plus generous commission with unlimited earning potential.
