We deliver manned guarding and wider security solutions across public sector, construction, retail and facilities management environments.We have strong operational capability, a reputation for reliability and a leadership team committed to growth. Now we are focused on scaling our manned guarding division further across the North of England and nationally.The OpportunityAs the Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of new business generation.You will:Identify and target security opportunities: manned guarding, CCTV towers, and facilities managementProactively build your own pipeline through outreach, networking and sector connectionsEngage senior decision makers and develop long term commercial relationshipsLead and manage the full bid and tender process from qualification to presentationNegotiate and close profitable, sustainable contractsGrow and develop the accounts you win to maximise recurring revenueMaintain strong pipeline discipline with structured activity and accurate revenue forecastingThis is a field-based role with regular in person engagement at our Bolton head office, particularly during onboarding and key planning periods.You will have the freedom to shape your approach, backed by an experienced operations team who deliver on what you sell.What We Are Looking ForYou are commercially driven and comfortable building momentum from scratch.You will bring:Proven success securing new business within the security or manned guarding sectorA track record of winning profitable contracts and building recurring revenue streamsConfidence in opening conversations and engaging senior stakeholders - in person and virtuallyStrong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of margin and riskResilience, pace and the discipline to manage a high performing pipelineFull UK driving licence, and own transport for use during onboarding periodWillingness to travel to our Bolton head office as required, 1-2 days per week during onboarding Ideally, you will have experience contributing to or leading formal tender and bid submissions.
