Job Description
The Carlile Group has an immediate need for a full-time Business Development Manager to join our team. Our firm provides full service architectural, property inspection, and property management services to clients from the commercial retail, office, civic, education, healthcare, religious, light industrial, and residential market sectors.
The current opportunity is offered as a full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Wage range is approximated between $62,000 - $68,000 per year.
What will you do?
· Developing and implementing business development strategies aligned with company goals, conducting market research, and identifying new market opportunities.
· Research current solicitations for professional services from various agencies to
identify potential proposal opportunities.
· Review proposal requirements and summarize opportunities for management review.
· Manage a log of current opportunities, status, and deadlines.
· Prepare and develop proposals within timelines stipulated showcasing firm capabilities, staff information, prior work experiences, etc.
· Manage firm resume and portfolio database to provide most current and up-to-date information for proposal solicitations.
· Maintain corporate website including update website content and information to provide the most current and up-to-date information for prospective clients.
· Oversee and manage firm social media accounts.
· Engage various trade organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and other networking opportunities and events for firm networking.
Educational and Experience:
Candidate should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business related major.
Candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
Candidate should be a free thinker and capable of evaluating current business development strategies and propose and execute new strategies. Accuracy and attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication a must. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and other software required to complete associated tasks.
