Business Development Manager


Current opening is for a full-time position as a Business Development Manager within our sales force.
In this role you will prospect new leads and sell our staffing services to new and existing clients.

The successful candidate will have outside sales experience, be self-motivated, driven, and strive to exceed goals and expectations.

Business Development Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $28.
    00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • B2B sales: prospect, qualify, propose, and create sustainable business partnerships.
  • Follow Elwood Standard Operating Procedures: tour clients facilities, process new client paperwork and meet development goals.
  • Assist with networking events as expected.
    Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and comply with them in all work activities.


Business Development Manager Qualifications:

  • Previous outside sales or new account business development skills and experience is required.
  • Reliable transportation: this is a B2B sales position and requires the ability to travel from client to client daily basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency with utilizing social media and CRMs
  • The ability to work with people across all levels of an organization (gatekeepers to executive decision makers)
  • Professional communication skills are other key traits for the position
  • Prosses a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Yammer)
  • Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
