Star Fire, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company located in Queens Village, NY, is looking for Business Development Manager to join our team!

  • Develop and implements sales strategies to achieve company growth and profitability goals.  
  • Updates the sales pipeline and ensures that all sales opportunities are effectively tracked and managed.  
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.  
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as operations and accounting, to ensure sales efforts align with overall company goals and objectives.  
  • Prepares and presents sales reports to senior management to provide insight into sales performance and market trends.  
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.  
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the life safety industry  
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.  
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.  
  • Knowledge of fire alarm & A.R.C systems and related codes and regulations.   
  • Ability to travel to meet with customers and attend industry meetings and events as needed.
