Job Summary ECM Holding Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Sales Operations Representative. This position is designed to support business development activities in close coordination with Senior Account Representatives. This position divides its focus between active front-end outbound sales, pipeline generation, and client acquisition; and on managing sales activity tracking, maintaining CRM integrity, optimizing sales enablement workflows, and executing critical administrative support. This role ensures that while new business opportunities are consistently cultivated, the underlying infrastructure, data tracking, and administrative workflows required to scale the sales department remain precise, efficient, and up to date. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting: Execute targeted outbound campaigns via cold calling, strategic email sequencing, and professional networking (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to identify and qualify net-new business opportunities. Lead Qualification: Respond dynamically to inbound marketing leads, utilizing framework methodologies to evaluate alignment with our Ideal Customer Profile. Pipeline Growth & Coordination: Schedule high-value first calls and networking events with target Accounts. Travel to meetings and events either with or on behalf of Senior Account Executives. CRM Administration & Data Hygiene: Serve as the primary custodian of the CRM platform (e.g., Dynamics and SmartSheets); supporting the team and VP of Business Development in data accuracy. Performance Analytics & Dashboarding: Support the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards for sales and senior management teams. Sales Operations Support: Coordinate team alignments, document actionable meeting minutes, and maintain the centralized repository for sales collateral, pitch decks, and templates. Forecasting & Reporting: Partner with sales leadership to aggregate historic performance data, synthesize pipeline forecasts, and compile material for Quarterly Forecasts and Reviews. New Solution Development Team: Support the internal team assigned to new solutions and product development as a lead administrator and project manager. Marketing Coordination: Work with the VP of Business Development to update and improve marketing materials in support of direct sales activities. Help maintain cadence with EMCOR marketing and provide project management support for active marketing update efforts. Qualifications CRM Expertise: Strong proficiency with customer relationship management platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics 365) with a deep understanding of data entry, reporting, and dashboard creation. Sales Tech Stack: Familiarity with prospecting tools and sales engagement platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Outreach, or equivalent). Productivity Software: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel for data manipulation/reporting, Word, and PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Meticulous Attention to Detail: The ability to pivot from conversational sales messaging to highly detailed data audits without introducing errors. Exceptional Time Management: Proven capacity to self-manage a split schedule, ensuring administrative duties do not shadow prospecting goals, and vice versa. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for professional B2B outreach as well as clear internal reporting to executive leadership. Process-Oriented Mindset: An innate desire to organize unstructured data, document workflows, and find efficiencies in day-to-day business operations. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or sales operations/administrative role. Experience in a hybrid environment is highly valued. Benefits We are committed to providing employees a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, a 401(k) Savings Plan, College Coach and employee assistance program. Compensation Base Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 Other Compensation: Commission eligible Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
